The consulting industry, along with a lot of other industries, has its share of unethical individuals and companies who will always try to take advantage of “who they know” and unsuspecting buyers in their quest for easy money.  Fortunately these people are in the minority, but we know they exist because we have a number of customers come to us to clean up the mess.

As there are no standards or requirements set in place by a governing body, almost anyone can call themselves a “consultant.” Their inexperience can cost you dearly, even if they are genuinely trying to do an honest job.  One of our customers who understandably requests to remain anonymous, had to trash six month’s worth of development because the “consultant” just couldn’t deliver.

You should know what to expect from us and your project.  Before we start working with your systems and people, we will evaluate your problem and alert you to any potential risks involved in fulfilling your requirement.  If there are any risks, they will be explained in full.  If your involvement is necessary, we will explain where, when and why.  Your authorisation and agreement will be obtained before work commences.  We will provide you with regular progress reports – in writing if you like.
